The Colorado Work-Based Learning Division of CACTE was founded in 2025.
Mission: The mission of COWBL is to empower career & technical education professionals to support students through high-quality work-based learning experiences that bridge the gap between education and career readiness. As a dedicated group of professionals within the career & technical education system, we collaborate with industry partners, educators, and communities to create meaningful opportunities that help students develop essential skills, foster career exploration, and prepare learners for success in the workforce. Through innovation, equity, and student-centered approaches, we strive to ensure work-based learning professionals have the tools necessary to inspire every learner with access to transformative experiences that shape their future.
